The Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University, Denmark invites applications for one or two, 2-years Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions focused on Cryptography. The position is funded by the ERC. The starting date is 1 October 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.Role Description This is a full-time (37 hours/week) on-site role located at Åbogade 34, 8200 Aarhus N, Denmark for a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Computer Science, Aarhus University. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research on cryptography in collaboration with the Cryptography and Security Research Group at Aarhus University. The focus of the position will be secure multiparty computation (MPC) focusing in particular on pseudorandom-correlation generators, homomorphic secret-sharing, etc.Documentable previous research experience with the topics (in the form of publications at the top-venues of the field such as IACR CRYPTO, IACR EUROCRYPT, IACR ASIACRYPT, IACR TCC, ACM CCS etc.) is an advantage.Responsibilities
