College of Science and Engineering, School of Biological Sciences, Institute of Molecular Plant Sciences

Full time contract (35 hours per week)

Fixed term (start date: asap; end date 31 Jan 2025)

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Postdoctoral Plant Molecular Biologist with experience of gene editing approaches and bioinformatics, together with expertise in plant tissue culture / plant natural product biosynthesis.

The Opportunity:

To work with a multinational industrial partner and a dynamic young SME, together with the University of Edinburgh in a project employing gene editing approaches to manipulate the production of a high value natural product from a cutting-edge bioproduction platform.
