Offer DescriptionApplications are invited for a full-time post-doctoral research position in the project LESOLA Learning the sound of language, Grant PID2021-123416NB-I00 funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by “ERDF A way of making Europe” and by the “Cofre” support.The researcher will work on the following tasks related to the developmental perspective of neural basis of speech perception in early infancy and adulthood:· Design, piloting and running of Functional diffuse correlation spectroscopy (fDCS) and electroencephalography (EEG) infant studies· Design, piloting and running of EEG and fMRI adult studies· Analysis of results· Writing up results for conference talks and journal articlesWhere to apply WebsiteRequirementsResearch Field Neurosciences Education Level PhD or equivalentSpecific Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge in research areas of: language acquisition and processing, neural entrainment, infant development and bilingual speech perception. Valued: Doctor in Developmental Neuroscience o similar.
  • Demonstrable experience (publicacions) in Functional diffuse correlation spectroscopy (fDCS) and electroencephalography (EEG) in infants. Experience carrying out fMRI research.
  • High level of English
  • Solid experience with Matlab and EEGLAB.

Conversational knowledge of Spanish. Catalan at least level B1.Other MeritsFamiliarity with Python and R, FSL and AFNI for fMRI.Languages ENGLISH Level ExcellentYears of Research Experience 4 – 10Additional InformationBenefits42.178€ / annual gross salary.Eligibility criteria1.
