In connection with the Carlsberg Foundation – Semper Ardens: Accelerate grant “Classifying finite and infinite C*-dynamics” held by Jamie Gabe, we are opening a 2-year postdoc position for a young researcher with a research profile in operator algebras. The standard Danish salary is very competitive, and the position also includes a travel budget of 2000 € per year. The teaching load will not exceed 1 semester per year, corresponding to 10 ECTS, and the teaching may be conducted in English. The postdoc is expected to organize the weekly Operator Algebras seminar.About the Workgroup
The postdoc will belong to the within the Topology, Analysis, Algebra, and Geometry ( ) research section. The Operator Algebra group boasts several permanent faculty members working in operator algebras and noncommutative geometry. The TAAG section conducts research within a broad spectrum of pure mathematics, and the section has close ties with SDU’s Center for Quantum Mathematics.Formal requirement
