Join us at the and be a part of a new, ambitious research project.About the ProjectIn an experimental research project recently funded by the Independent Fund Denmark, we aim to examine the bidirectional links between the human circadian system and time perception. The research project involves different work packages employing state of the art chronobiology research protocols such as the constant routine and dim light melatonin onset protocols to investigate the influence of endogenous circadian rhythms on human time estimation abilities and vice versa.Your QualificationsWe are looking for a highly motivated and independent candidate to lead the project under the guidance and supervision of the primary investigator, Associate Professor Ali Amidi, and in collaboration with the rest of the Sleep & Circadian Psychology Research Group, as well as the project team, which includes prominent international researchers in the fields of chronobiology and psychology.Candidates with a PhD in psychology or other related fields are preferred, but all candidates with a PhD degree and prior experience in circadian rhythms and sleep research are encouraged to apply. International candidates who are willing to move to Aarhus, Denmark, are also highly encouraged to apply.Candidates are expected to have a proven track record in research project management involving human subjects, international peer-reviewed publications, and a strong interest in circadian rhythms research and methodology. Prior teaching experience is also important, as the postdoc position will involve some teaching responsibilities.Why Join Us?As a member of our research group, you will receive the necessary supervision and support to lead the project, as well as strategic mentoring from senior members of the group to help you grow as a researcher and to, in time, transition into a more senior research role.
