• The candidate did not have the principal investigator as the research supervisor or auxiliary supervisor of PhD dissertation.
• Candidate’s PhD degree has been awarded by another institution than the one planned to employ the candidate at this post or the candidate have completed a continuous and evidenced post-doctoral fellowship of at least 10 months in another institution than the host institution for the project and in another country than the one in which the candidate has been conferred a PhD degree.
• When the remuneration is paid, the selected candidate will be receiving no remuneration from the funds allocated as direct costs under research projects funded in NCN calls.
• When the remuneration is paid, the selected candidate will be receiving no remuneration from another employer pursuant to an employment contract, including an employer with a registered office outside of Poland.
• When the remuneration is paid, the selected candidate will be receiving no pension under the social insurance scheme.

Key responsibilities:

• Active participation in the research within the project, in particular formal or philosophical explorations of one of the following project’s tasks:
• interpretability between foundational theories (in particular: bi-interpretability, synonymy, tightness, solidity);
• epistemic stability;
• model-theoretical characterizations of axiomatic theories of semantic notions (such as disquotational theories of truth) in the spirit of the paper Universal Properties of Truth (

).

• Organization and regular participation in the meetings of the research team; cooperation with the PI and other members of the research team in order to share the ideas about the project’s tasks and work on the publications.
• Presenting the research outcomes during international and local conferences, workshops and seminars.
• Preparing publications with research outcomes with the aim of publishing them in renowned international journals.
• Organization of seminars, workshops, conferences and research visits of invited researchers.

• A doctoral degree in the field of philosophy, logic, mathematics of theoretical computer science, obtained not earlier than 7 years before the year of employment within this project

; * Confirmed by publications or an writing sample ability to conduct advanced research in formal philosophy or one of the following areas of mathematical logic: nonstandard models of arithmetic, models of set theory, proof theory or computability theory;

• Confirmed by publications or an writing sample competences in formal logic; solid basic grasp of one of the following fields: nonstandard models of arithmetic, models of set theory, proof theory or computability theory.

This period does not include breaks caused by maternity leave, leave under the conditions of maternity leave, paternal leave, parental leave granted in accordance with the principles stipulated in the provisions of the labour law, or breaks during which sickness benefit or rehabilitation benefit in connection with inability to work, including inability to work as a consequence of an illness necessitating therapeutic rehabilitation, were received. For women, the indicated seven-year period may be extended by 18 months for each natural or adopted child.
