Job description

Offer DescriptionWe are looking for a highly motivated post-doc to join our research team at the Center for Interdisciplinary research in Biology of the Collège de France (Paris). We study the mechano-chemical processes that produce positional information during embryogenesis, and how these dynamics shape the phenotypic landscape of natural patterns. We take advantage of variation and trends in the avian skin pattern
(i.e. feather and colour distribution). Further information about ongoing research in the Manceau lab can be found at .The anticipated project aims at uncovering early developmental factors instructing conserved colour pattern domains. It will involve phenotypic surveys, expression analyses, and field work.Center for Interdisciplinary research in Biology, Collège de France, 11 place
