Then the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO), Aarhus University, invites you to apply for a fulltime 2-year postdoc position.This is a 2-year fixed-term position from 1 January 2025, or as soon possible thereafter.Job descriptionThe project will investigate the novel role of proteins in immunity. This will involve investigations into protein binding studies and cellular immune responses.Your profileApplicants should hold a PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology or similar.Applicants should have a background in immunology, or molecular biology, with expertise in cell culture, antigen presentation, innate immunity and cytokine profiling preferable.
Experience in the use of techniques to investigate binding affinity of proteins such as BioLayer Interferometry (or similar) is also preferable.Who we areThe Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (www.inano.au.dk), which was established in 2002 and at present is a major research and education center based at Aarhus University, hosts 60 senior scientists, ~100 postdocs and ~100 PhD students.The center combines expertise and faculty from Physics, Chemistry, Molecular biology and Medicine to carry out world-class interdisciplinary research in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. The center gives access to a broad range of infrastructure, tools and expertise including clean-room facilities.With a 5-year undergraduate nanotechnology program and nanoscience graduate program (www.inanoschool.au.dk), the center provides a full educational environment. In addition to the large base of basic research,The position will be within the Bioengineered Drug Designs laboratory that focuses on protein engineered solutions to the delivery requirements of biomacromolecules.What we offerThe center offers:
