Offer DescriptionIn the context of the project “Tropical cyclones impacting the eastern North Atlantic: dynamical and risk assessment analysis under future climate conditions” (CONSCIENCE) we are looking for a candidate for a 3-year postdoctoral contract (University of Valladolid – Segovia Campus).The project is funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Proyectos de Generación de Conocimiento (2023).The candidate may have a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science or in a closely related field, experience working with climate model data, good programming skills (preferably in Python) and knowlegde on numerical weather modelling. In this project we will be running the WRF-ARW, MPAS and HARMONIE-AROME limited area models.
