Offer Description
A postdoc position is available in the laboratory of Prof. Roberto Rizzi, Department of MedicoSurgical Sciences and Biotechnologies, Sapienza University (Rome, Italy) to generate and implement
pathophysiological human three-dimensional models capitalized by advanced biotechnologies.
Prof. Rizzi’s laboratory supports the application of iPSC cells with innovative biomaterials for
cardiac and muscle regenerative medicine and integrates advanced technologies in the field of
biomedicine, such as three-dimensional (3D) bioprinting, organoid modelling, and the development
of innovative bio-hydrogels derived from the decellularized extracellular matrix. In the last decade,
his research interests have moved towards the biofabrication of complex physiological systems
capable of promoting the creation of more refined and successful therapies and the formulation of a
bio-ink based on bioactive extracellular vesicles (EV) to promote vascularization.
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications
We are seeking for a highly talented and motivated Postdoctoral Fellow interested in biomedical
research. The work will focus on developing innovative platforms to recapitulate human tissues.
