Department of Plant and Environmental SciencesFaculty of ScienceUniversity of CopenhagenThe postdoc will be employed for 18 months on the project “Genetics of PFOS degradation” and will be working on functional cloning of potentially novel genes involved in degradation of PFAS chemicals. The postdoc will also perform RT-qPCR on relevant PFAS catabolic genes, perform advanced metabolomics in collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Martin Hansen (Aarhus University), and perform data analyses. The applicant should have experience with environmental microbiology, qPCR, and cloning.The postdoc’s duties will include research within the project as well as teaching.
