Your main objective will be to develop and validate computational multiscale models of surface degradation and maintenance of wind turbine blades, allowing the evaluation of possible microplastics emission, its outcomes and ways to control it. You will work with nearby colleagues, and with both academic and industrial partners in Denmark as well as abroad. Your primary tasks will include:
You are expected to have a PhD degree in materials science, applied mechanics, mechanics, mechanical engineering or related disciplines, and have an experience or good knowledge of mechanics of materials, computational micromechanics, finite element simulations (ABAQUS) as well as programming in a higher-level language (Python, including Numpy package). Demonstrated experience in preparing scientific publications in high level international journals is expected.As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).We offer
