On the one hand, you will be in charge of the daily management of the MSCA Doctoral Network Track The Twin. This task involves the preparation of the different network-wide training events, the follow-up of the different project deliverables, and the organization of the project reporting. On the other hand, you will execute scientific research in the field of colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals. For this part, you have the opportunity to propose your own research topic, which will be assessed based on (1) timeliness and level of ambition and (2) complementarity with the research topics investigated at the research group Physics and Chemistry of Nanostructures ( ).WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You hold a thesis-based doctorate in chemistry, physics, materials science or comparable at the moment of recruitment.
- You are interested in project management, which is at best demonstrated through past experience and excellent communication and organization skills. Fluency in English is a must.
- You have the ambition and the proven capabilities to start a research career in academia at the level of a postdoctoral researcher, as demonstrated by your resume and your research plan.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
- We offer you a contract of definite duration.
- Your contract will start on 1/12/2024 at the earliest.
- Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4 (if you hold a Master’s degree) or salary scale PD1 to PD4 (if you hold a doctorate).
