Isolation of SeNP-forming microorganisms;2. Screening of SeNP-forming microorganisms for their plant growth-promoting properties (PGP);3. Morphological, biological, and molecular characterization of most potential isolates;4. Synergistic and antagonistic interactions of isolates to develop a microbial consortium;5. Analysis of the efficiency of SeNP formation by microorganisms as single and consortium;6. Molecular identification of genes responsible for bioreduction of selenium compounds;7. Evaluation of efficiency in germination and pot tests;8. Investigation of microorganism/gene identification by PCR and qPCR;9. In-situ/ex-situ production and its complete evaluation;10. Characterization of bioreduction kinetics in in-situ and ex-situ scenarios;11. Comparison of bioreduction in acellular and whole-cell mode, taking into account the efficiency and complexity of post-production processes;12. Carrying out bioreduction on a larger scale (approx. 5L) to obtain exemplary formulations of selenium nanoparticles;13. Evaluation of functional properties and assessment of cytotoxicity of different BioSeNP formulations;14. Assistance in conducting research/experimental work;15. Preparation of reagents and materials for field and pot tests;16. Sampling in greenhouse and field trials;17. Writing publications and papers;18. Literature studies;19. Presentation of obtained results at conferences.Specific Requirements1. Fluency in spoken and written English, allowing reading/writing instructions/publications and communicating with international partners;2. PhD in biotechnology or related discipline obtained within 7 years before January 1 of the year of employment in the project;3. Experience in an international environment (e.g., Erasmus program);4. At least eight publications published in journals from the Philadelphia list;5. Focus on the effect;6. Experience in working in sterile conditions with microorganisms;7. Documented experience working in a microbiology laboratory;8. Knowledge of microbiological processes;9. Knowledge of instrumental and classical analytical techniques;10. Knowledge of simple analytical equipment (pH meters, conductivity meters, scales, spectrophotometers) – ability to calibrate laboratory equipment;11. Knowledge of microorganism and gene identification using PCR and qPCR;12. Knowledge of MS Office;13.
