- Description of tasks:
The scope of duties includes analysis of the literature on (anti)aromatic organic compounds, heterocycles, the chemistry of PAHs, aromatic compounds and transformations enabling the implementation of the proposed synthetic pathways, optimization and carrying out of organic syntheses on a laboratory and preparative scale, purification and isolation of compounds intermediates by means of precipitation, maceration, crystallization, column chromatography. Identification of obtained compounds by using spectroscopic tools and critical analysis of obtained results, their presentation (team seminars) and written two-weeks reports.Where to apply E-mail[email protected]RequirementsResearch Field Chemistry Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/Qualifications– PhD in organic or inorganic obtained no later than 7 years before hiring in the project (including breaks in accordance with the NCN regulations) or the expected date of obtaining the doctoral degree before starting work.– effective written and oral communication skills in English.
