As a Portfolio Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will deliver portfolio analysis and insights to the Devices and Delivery Solution (DDS) organisation supporting strategic and portfolio decision making. You will provide data-driven transparency and business intelligence using value-adding tools and frameworks to guide project prioritisation, track project progress, and allocate resources within DDS, identifying opportunities, industry trends, and insights to provide valuable portfolio analysis.Your main tasks will be focused on:

• Applying your knowledge and understanding of portfolio management, product development, and life cycle management to drive strategic decision-making
• Delivering data analysis and insights to support DDS governance decision base and Head of DDS Portfolio Management
• Driving the development of portfolio management overviews and data analysis
• Collaborating closely with other portfolio functions within Novo Nordisk to ensure consistency and robust portfolio management
• Utilising your experience and data insights to support the DDS Programme Management team

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we believe you should have:

• A master’s degree in business, engineering, data science, or a related area
• 2-3 years of experience within the field of expertise and preferably possess pharmaceutical industry knowledge
• Ability to identify better practices and create improvements in methods, techniques, approaches, etc
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, databases and AI
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

As a person, you are proactive in identifying problems and solutions, capable of independently structuring and handling complex tasks, highly result-driven, and possess solid business understanding, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.About the department
The Portfolio Team is a team of 6 talented colleagues, part of DDS Portfolio and Programme Management, a central function in the DDS (500+ FTEs). As part of DDS Strategic Development, we leverage a strong link to the external landscape to drive the strategic development of the DDS organisation to effectively build and progress a leading pipeline of delivery solutions. We drive strategy development and facilitate execution through a combination of strategic resource allocation, portfolio strategy, and management.Our main goal is to enable decision-making through data and insights into internal and external trends and opportunities. We safeguard the direction and ambition levels for the DDS portfolio. We are a trusted partner providing tools, practices, and data insights to enhance portfolio transparency and execution, striving to do business in a financially, environmentally, and socially responsible way.
