Information about the positionAs a Policy Manager, you will be responsible for driving the creation and implementation of policies for all upcoming categories across our product organisation and supporting functions. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including legal, Trust & Safety, and transactional product teams, to develop policies that balance business objectives, user experience, compliance, and operational feasibility.In this role, you will work closely with product, customer support, operations, and moderation teams to ensure policies are designed, approved, and implemented effectively.This role requires strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills to establish processes that streamline collaboration and ensure policies are rolled out in a timely manner. You will play a key role in shaping the framework that enables Vinted’s expansion while maintaining a fair, safe, and seamless experience for our members.In this position, you’ll

  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop policies for new and existing categories, incorporating input from legal teams on compliance, Trust & Safety teams on online moderation, and transactional product teams on post-order policies.
  • Balance key considerations such as business objectives, operational costs, user experience, and legal requirements to create fair and effective policies.
  • Present policy proposals to the Multivertical Steering Committee to gain approval and ensure smooth implementation.
  • Build and refine processes that enhance collaboration between product, customer support, operations, and moderation teams, ensuring policies are rolled out efficiently.
  • Continuously improve policies based on real-world impact, member feedback, and evolving business needs.

About you

  • Has experience as a Policy Manager in digital marketplaces, eCommerce platforms, or other fast-paced, consumer-facing environments.
  • Thrives in dynamic, early-stage settings and isn’t afraid to dive into complex challenges to drive results.
  • Excels at project and stakeholder management, bringing teams together to create and implement effective policies.
  • Uses data and analytical skills to make informed, strategic decisions.
  • Pays close attention to detail and communicates with clarity and precision.
  • Is an excellent communicator in English, both written and spoken.
