Position overview 

We are looking for a motivated Digital Policy Assistant to join our office in Brussels. In this role you will support the work of the policy team with the daily policy monitoring, analysis and provision of insight on key regulatory issues.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

  • Conducting daily monitoring and reporting on relevant policy developments. 
  • Keeping the OPP platform updated  
  • Writing concise meeting summaries of policy debates in the European institutions. 
  • Ad hoc support to the team with tasks such as preparing daily policy briefings, research, client management. 
  • Accompanying senior members of the team to meetings and responding to queries from clients. 

 

Requirements 

  • Master’s degree, preferably in a relevant field such as EU politics, law, or economics. 
  • At least 1 year of professional experience or previous internships in EU policy, public affairs or a related field. 
  • Experience in EU digital policy or a demonstrable interest in the topic. 
  • Clear understanding of the EU institutions and EU legislative process. 
  • Professional proficiency in English. Knowledge of other EU languages is an asset but not essential. 
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently as part of the team. 
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, and a great eye for detail.
