In this pivotal role, you will work to assess opportunities for optimization and implement initiatives that will take project execution to the next level. You will be given the mandate to act upon your ideas and suggestions, and work closely with various project stakeholders to develop the best standards.As a key member of the company, it will be your responsibility to establish a strong two-way communication platform that allows you to gain the understanding of the needs of project members. In this way, you can guide and accommodate the requirements of Project Managers and Engineering professionals. This means that you will become a key point of contact for project teams, providing guidance and support to their work as well as training them towards new and improved standards to further enhance project performance. Additionally, you will also be able to get hands-on responsibility for exciting customer projects as well.Ultimately, you will oversee a high quality project management framework, where processes, roles, and responsibilities are strongly and effectively defined throughout the organization’s locations.responsibilitiesWorking in this crucial role, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Implement a comprehensive PM framework
  • Assess opportunities for improvements in project execution
  • Guide and train project teams
  • Take hands-on ownership of your own projects
  • Prepare and deliver reports to senior management
  • Be a pioneer

about youWe are looking for you who is an experienced candidate with the ability and confidence to take charge and act upon your own initiatives. You come in with an open mind, enabling you to make assessments to optimize processes that benefit the GomSpace way of working. Furthermore, you are a strong communicator able to motivate and collaborate well with your team members.In terms of professional background, we expect you to have a background in engineering, e.g. mechanical or electrical engineering. Also, you possess extensive knowledge about project management. Having run or worked with PMO is strongly beneficial. Besides this, we are looking for a candidate who is:

  • Fluent in English
  • A team player
  • Dynamic and possesses a strong overview
