Plumber – Bishop’s Stortford
Salary: £38,000
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off days and nights 

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join a site-based team in Bishop’s Stortford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable role with a structured 4 on, 4 off days shift pattern and a competitive salary package.

Role Details:
Location: Bishop’s Stortford
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off days and nights 
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Salary: £38,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

– Carrying out planned preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance
– Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a wide range of plumbing systems
– Installation, maintenance, and repair of pipework, valves, taps, and sanitary ware
– Working on hot and cold water systems, including pumps, expansion vessels, and calorifiers
– Identifying and repairing leaks, blockages, and pressure issues
– Carrying out minor installation and upgrade works as required
– Ensuring compliance with all health & safety regulations and site procedures
– Completing job reports and maintaining accurate maintenance records
– Supporting other engineers and trades as part of a multi-skilled team

Requirements:

– Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
– Proven experience in a commercial or industrial environment
– Good knowledge of water systems and associated plant
– Ability to fault-find and resolve issues efficiently
– Ability to work both independently and within a team
– Strong problem-solving skills
– Flexibility to work a 4 on, 4 off days and nights
