We are looking for an experienced Plant SQA Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing & Quality for our Components Business Segment in Huddersfield.

This is a permanent contract working 35 hours per week. Monday – Friday 7.30am to 3pm.

Salary is £35,000 to £40,000 depending on skills and experience.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Comprehensive knowledge applied to performing skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs.
• Works with relevant functions to select and utilize appropriate resources, tools, machinery, and specialty equipment.
• Acts as a formal resource leading and coordinating others. Quickly and effectively adapts to change in the manufacturing environment.
• Working with suppliers on emerging quality issues.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Experience of Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Previous experience of working within an Engineering or Manufacturing function preferred.
• Turbocharger & Technical knowledge preferable.
• Great communicator.
• College, university, apprenticeship, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject required.
