They will work closely with senior management to provide strategic financial insights, assess financial performance, and drive informed decision-making. The position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.Roles and Responsibilities
Budgeting and Planning

  • Support the annual budgeting & business plan processes, collaborating with various departments to gather relevant data, assumptions to align financial plans with strategic objectives
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making, including resource allocation, pricing strategies and investment opportunities
  • Evaluate financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions

Financial Reporting and Performance Metrics

  • Track KPIs regularly, interpreting data trends to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Evaluate revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability metrics for each service segment, providing actionable insights to improve financial performance
  • Prepare and present insightful financial reports and performance dashboards to senior management, highlighting key financial indicators, trends, variances and providing actionable recommendations
  • Performance of Quarterly Performance Reviews: Analysis of Actual vs Plan and vs prior Quarters

Financial Systems and Process Improvement

  • Evaluate and enhance financial planning systems and processes to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data
  • Implement best practices and tools to support effective financial planning and analysis activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA/CFA preferred
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis roles, preferably in Oil & Gas industry
  • Possess solid knowledge and understanding of management and financial accounting
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel skills; experience with business intelligence tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  • Capable of leading cross-functional teams and driving financial initiatives
  • Have an excellent command of oral and written English
