We are assisting a leading contractor specializing in new build, fit out, refurbishment and capacity upgrades in their search for an experienced Planning Manager to join the team in Madrid, Spain. As a Planning Manager, you will lead the project planning and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, excellent leadership abilities and a proven record of accomplishments in successfully managing and planning projects.Key Responsibilities & Requirements:Generate thorough project plans & schedules in collaboration with project stakeholders including project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.Supervise & lead the successful delivery of Data Centre projects together with Project Management Partners with the intent of securing repeat business.Interpret project milestones, deliverables, and critical paths to track project timelines and development.Develop accurate schedules to ensure logical, compliant and project specific programs.Liaise with Main Contractors, undertaking tender analysis and reporting to clients with recommendations related to schedule submissions.Mastery of project management softwares such as Primavera P6, Microsoft 365 suite to create and manage project schedules, including resource & task allocation and other relevant softwares like Syncro & PowerBI.Collaborate with project teams to identify resource requirements, including labor materials, equipment, and subcontractors.Assign resources effectively to ensure maximum use and productivity while minimizing conflicts and deficiencies.Look after availability and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in project priorities.Submit regular progress reports & dashboards to communicate schedule status, milestones, and critical issues to project stakeholders.Profound understanding of testing and commissioning process and skills to audit commissioning process with input from the project team and align commissioning information into IMS integrated master schedules.Deep understanding of building contracts.Degree in Construction Management/ Engineering or related field.Proven accomplishments in Data Center contracts as Planning Manager.Strong analytical, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Please apply with your updated CV and we will contact you in return for a confidential discussion.Ideal candidates must be eligible to work in Spain.
