Job Description:UE06: £33,882 – £39,105 per annumCMVM / Edinburgh Medical School / Medical EducationFull-time: 35 hours per weekOpen-endedMedical Education invites applications for a Placement Officer within the Medical Teaching Organisation to provide administration of student placements across the MBChB undergraduate programme. The post holder will work closely with team leaders in the MTO as well as with clinical and other NHS staff to ensure that students are placed in a timely manner. The post holder will be the main point of contact for students and the NHS regarding placements across Scotland.The Opportunity:This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.Your skills and attributes for success:
- Experience of placement administration
- Experience of customer support
- Strong IT skills, specifically with creating auditable datasets
