We provide you with the following information:What is the purpose/mission of the position?The purpose of the position is to build a solid architecture for developing code in INSIS Platform according to business requirements needs. This engineer will work extensively with claims, product colleagues to maintain an optimal data structure in our systems regarding customization code.The main objective is to create standardized cost efficient, simple, reusable, maintainable and user-friendly code providing outstanding performance solutions.The solutions developed will also help to integrate Oxygen platform with the IT landscape of the clients.What are the tasks that you’ll perform?
- Designing, developing, testing business functionalities for our insurance system INSIS.
- Develop, maintain and evolve code in our system for integration architecture with other platforms via APIs/file exchange
- Create standardized cost efficient, simple, reusable, maintainable and user-friendly code.
- Developing SQL procedures, functions, packages, and etc in Oracle DB, as this is required to analyze business request and make custom changes.
- Create the code providing outstanding performance solutions.
- Write quality code documentation.
- Support and collaborate with other BU’s or partners technical teams.
- Customization engineer will work extensively with Business Chapter like claims, product colleagues to maintain an optimal data structure in our systems regarding customization code.
- Grow in business insurance knowledge in terms of acquire best practices of the sector and to apply on the development.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing Oracle database applications using PL/SQL.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing JAVA code.
- Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.
- Fluent English
