PROGRAM OVERVIEWThe Pininfarina Architecture Summer Course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary architectural design, blending Pininfarina’s rich automotive heritage with innovative architectural practices. This intensive program will focus on three core pillars:Timeless Beauty: Exploring design principles that transcend trendsTechnological Innovation: Integrating cutting-edge technology in architectural solutionsSustainable Impact: Creating designs that positively influence society and the environmentProgram DetailsDuration: 2 weeks (July 14th – July 25th, 2025)Location: Pininfarina Headquarters, Turin, ItalyLanguage of Instruction: EnglishParticipants: Limited to 12 studentsCurriculum HighlightsLectures by Pininfarina’s top architects and designers and external guestsHands-on workshops using state-of-the-art design toolsImmersion in Pininfarina’s design vision and access to its exclusive facilitiesSpecial workshop contribution by selected technical partnersCollaborative design projects works with final presentation and exhibitionELIGIBILITY CRITERIATo ensure a diverse and dynamic learning environment, we welcome applications from:Recent Graduates: Individuals who have completed their degree in Architecture, Building Engineering, Product Design or related fields within the last two yearsYoung Professionals: Architects and designers with a portfolio of practical experience in the fieldCandidates should demonstrate a strong passion for innovative design, a keen interest in interdisciplinary approaches, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in English is required, as it is the language of instruction for the course.We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and geographical locations to apply, as we value the unique perspectives each participant brings to the program. A basic understanding of automotive design principles is beneficial but not mandatory.Application processInitial Screening: All applicants must upload their CV and Portfolios + Presentation letter (max. 12mb) will be reviewed for completeness and eligibility by an internal Pininfarina board.Portfolio Evaluation: A panel of Pininfarina architects and designers will assess each applicant’s portfolio based on creativity, originality, technical skill, understanding of design principles, and potential for growth.Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a video interviewApplication Deadline: April 25th, 2025TUITION AND COSTSThis overview provides a detailed breakdown of tuition costs, mandatory fees, and additional expenses associated with the summer course.Summer school program fee: 4500,00€What is included in the program cost:Accommodation in a vibrant hotel in TurinDaily mealsMaterials and Supplies60h overall program, including international guest lecturersLocal transport transfers from Turin to Cambiano headquarterAdditional expensesEvening meals: estimated meal costs can range from €25 to €40 per day, depending on dining choices. A budget of approximately €400 for two weeks is recommended.Travel Expenses: aside local transfers provided by Pininfarina, students should budget for travel from their place of origin to Turin, Italy, and return.
