-Write and execute change requests to implement improvements

We offer an exciting and varied workday with great opportunities for professional and personal development. Full, on-the-job training in GMP production will be provided.

Your new department

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

As part of CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture, and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mindset. Mammalian Pilot Plant includes pilot-scale facilities for cultivation and recovery of proteins at around 1000L scale. Our pharmaceutical production processes utilise mammalian cells and our purified proteins are utilised in clinical trials and developmental trials. The department consists of around 60 employees divided into 4 teams: Cultivation, Recovery, Purification and Support. MPP is part of CMC Development where there is close collaboration with the API Development teams as well as across the API Pilot facilities.

Your skills & qualifications

We’re looking for a curious, quick learner who can work diligently and systematically to achieve ambitious goals as we continue to optimise the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients for development and clinical trials. You’ll bring with you:

type=”disc”-
-Master’s degree in biochemical engineering, process engineering, biotechnology, natural sciences, or a related field, combined with a technical interest in mammalian production
-Work experience in a production environment and downstream process knowledge is preferred
-Experience with GMP and cLEAN principles is an advantage
-Team player mindset who enjoys working with others to find effective solutions
-Quality mindset and ability to create structure and plan work in collaboration with colleagues and in line with departmental priorities
-Agile and proactive approach, bringing curiosity to new tasks and challenges
