Physics Teacher – Secondary Catholic School, SalfordSeeking a dedicated and passionate Physics Teacher to join a thriving Catholic secondary school in Salford, Manchester. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to inspire young minds and instill a lifelong love of science within a faith-based environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and comprehensive Physics lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
- Developing and implementing innovative lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and Catholic ethos.
- Assessing student progress through regular evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the Science department and wider school community.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and spiritual growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Physics at the secondary level, preferably within a Catholic school setting.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Science and the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
