Join Our Team! ?Are you ready to make a profound impact on the lives of exceptional learners?Have you got previous experience as a sports coach or experience working with people with additional needs?We’re seeking a dedicated and dynamic PE Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant community at one of our SEMH schools, specialising in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.? Position: PE Teaching Assistant ?? About the Role: As a PE Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in empowering our students to thrive physically, emotionally, and socially. You’ll work closely with our experienced PE department, providing tailored support to students with diverse needs, ensuring they have access to inclusive and engaging physical education sessions.? Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering PE lessons, adapting activities to accommodate individual needs and abilities.
  • Provide one-to-one support for students during PE sessions, promoting participation and fostering a love for physical activity.
  • Utilise effective behaviour management techniques to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the SEN/SEMH team to implement personalised strategies for students, addressing their specific challenges and promoting their holistic development.
  • Celebrate progress and achievements, nurturing students’ self-esteem, and confidence through positive reinforcement.

  • Behaviour Management Techniques: Possess effective behaviour management skills, including de-escalation strategies and positive reinforcement techniques, to create a conducive learning environment.
