Offer DescriptionThe of ULiège (Belgium) offers one PhD position under the supervision of on interactions between combinatorics on words, numeration systems, number theory, and automata and formal language theory. The position is part of an FNRS project MIS titled “An in-depth study of regular sequences as a (discrete) bridge between combinatorics on words and abstract numeration systems”.The PhD position tentatively starts in September 2025 and lasts 4 years (the starting date is somehow negotiable).
