Offer DescriptionESADE Business School offers a predoctoral fellowship to develop a PhD thesis in the framework of the funded project: “Structural transformations in modern economies: data, theories and policy analysis” (Principal Investigators: Ioana Schiopu and Omar Rachedi).The selected candidate will join the Group for Research in Economics and Finance at ESADE (more information about the group at this link: ). The school is home to faculty and students from all around the globe and is one of the leading business schools in the world according to international rankingsWhere to apply E-mailioana.schiopu@esade.eduRequirementsResearch Field Economics Education Level Master Degree or equivalentSkills/QualificationsWe are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual with a strong academic background and research interests in Macroeconomics, Labor Economics and/or Public Economics.We welcome applicants with strong quantitative and analytical skills, and a demonstrated interest in conducting original research.The candidate must have a Master’s degree in Economics or a related field, or relevant research experience.Applicants should have at least 25 ECTS in areas of methodology and advanced Economics topics.

Proficiency in English is required for non-native speakers.Additional InformationBenefitsThis is a full-time program taking place in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona).Funding includes annual tuition fees, a living stipend of € 19,097.36 for the 1st year and € 23,871.70 for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year, as well as funding for conference attendance and research stays.
