Offer DescriptionIRTA is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PhD candidate to join the Fruit Production Program. We invite applications from ambitious candidates with relevant research experience and passion to conduct research and innovation activities on the project titled: “Ecophysiological mechanisms underlying the resilience of grapevines to abiotic stresses”; The project will assess the interaction between variety/rootstock combination and soil management in the grapevine water relations at agronomical, physiological, and biochemical levels. A special focus will be addressed to understand the nature of below ground interaction between rootstock roots and cover crop roots.
