Our team is made up of more than 17,000 staff providing a range of services primarily for the one million residents of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.The Pharmacy Clinical Trials service at University Hospital of Leicester (UHL) is a key part of the clinical research multi-disciplinary team which aims to provide a safe and efficient service in the conduct of Investigational Medical Product (IMP) studies across the University Hospital Leicester’s three sites. The Pharmacy Clinical Trials service is friendly, varied and busy service with a portfolio of over 200 IMP studies. University Hospital Leicester is one of the largest and busiest teaching trusts in the country and provides care to over one million people in Leicestershire and Rutland. Leicester is a vibrant city with excellent transport links.About usWe are looking for a GPHC-registered Pharmacy Technician to assist our Clinical Trials Pharmacists, Lead Pharmacy Technicians and fellow co-ordinators in the smooth running of our expanding Clinical Trials Service. This role will be based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary; however the successful candidate may on occasion be required to work at other sites.Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).We have four primary goals:
