We’re building a lasting, global company filled with talented people who love recruitment…Our work with clients involves delivering an embedded in-house service and the occasional ‘BUILD’ project to help them grow their own in-house teams.We are looking for a People Operations Specialist for either a 5-month fixed-term contract with us or a day-rate contract, whatever works for you.As it supports a Global remit, you will need to speak and write excellent English. This is a Hybrid role, with a blend of working from home and from the Amsterdam office.What The Role Looks Like:● Accountable for ensuring a positive employee experience by efficiently addressing inquiries and managing the processes associated with the employee lifecycle, excluding recruitment activities.● By handling People administration, the Specialist in People Operations establishes a robust People framework for both internal and external stakeholders.● You will be the first point of contact for HR-related matters, and with that, you will be in a position to gather extensive data from employees’ questions and experiences. As such, they can identify areas of improvement in order to remove friction from the employee’s and manager’s lifecycle.What does the offer look like?● Attractive salary or contract rate – we’ll share that in our call with you.● Hybrid or Remote working● Working in a very open and friendly multicultural team● Development opportunities that will help you develop your career furtherThis role has a broad remit but covers:● Administration of a wide variety of personnel policies and processes, including all document management● Ensuring the processes, procedures, and documents are up-to-date and aligned with current local employment law and legislation in the regions you support● Completing people processing procedures such as contract/offer management, absences (tracking, reporting, and validating employee data changes)● Documenting all internal queries according to standard operating procedures● Maintaining records and employee files● Preparing and coordinating the actions around Payroll change reports and audits according to the pre-agreed timeline● Responding to written and verbal inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information and/orreferring to appropriate personnel and/or identifying the relevant issues and recommending or implementing a remediation plan● Liaising with country-specific stakeholders such as Advisory, Payroll, Recruitment, and other internal support functions and external vendors● Responsibility for data quality and regular audits, ensuring integrity of that dataIdeally, you’ll have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration combined with demonstrable experience of being in a people operations team in a large organisation.Key tools used are Workday and the ticketing system ServiceNow, and as you would expect, you’ll have excellent written and spoken English skills and an eye for detail.Both immersive and our client are proud to be an Equal Opportunities Employer and welcome applications from anyone interested in joining.
