Leading a team of SAP experts by coaching and developing their competencies is the main focus of this role. You will be responsible for ensuring high engagement, setting high-level directions and clearly communicate current and future priorities.As People Manager – SAP you will become a part of driving the biggest backlog on SAP platform we have yet seen in Novo Nordisk.
You will partner closely with other leaders in Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) Business Support & Program Office, and Lines of Business to ensure that we establish and drive a strong collaboration.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Be direct Manager for around 10-15 exceptional SAP experts ensuring their well-being and development
- Develop and drive people strategy including attraction, recruitment and retainment
- Support and engage team members to adapt best practices and improved ways of working.
- Partner and collaborate closely with the business (e.g., VP’s, Project Directors, Product Owners and other leaders) to create the best possible environment for high-performing product teams
- Collaborate and jointly develop with the Business and the IT organisation to advance the programme into the benefits phase after a successful conversion to S/4HANA; completing the NextGenSAP programme while establishing the future permanent SAP IT organisation in DD&IT
QualificationsTo succeed in this role we imagine you have:
- An academic background in a relevant field e.g. IT, Engineering, Business or Computer Science
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience from a similar role combined with proven technical knowledge of SAP
- Experience working in pharmaceutical or similar highly regulated industry
- Experience in navigating stakeholder and risk management in large organisations
- Strong managerial skills, leadership abilities, and adept negotiation capabilities accompanied by experience supporting a digital transformation through personal advocacy and engagement

About the team waiting for you
This position is anchored in the NextGenSAP programme office, where our focus is to drive the NextGenSAP programme and ensure benefits realisations across Novo Nordisk. You will be part of DD&IT Business Support & Program Office and you will primarily be located in Bagsværd, Denmark. We are a dedicated team of around 60 people in Denmark providing dedicated business support throughout DD&IT. You will be part of an agile, inspiring, and ambitious work environment, where advanced use of IT and teamwork are key for working closely together with our colleague in the line of business.
