As a People Manager for the Project Management team, you will play a central role within the team and the broader department, collaborating closely with Production, Quality, steering groups, and the safety organization. You will manage a team of 10-12 project managers working on complex projects focused on increasing capacity for our key products. Your tasks will include:
- Daily Coordination: Oversee and balance daily activities and resources, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Project Oversight: Follow up on project progress and actively participate in steering groups.
- Support Initiatives: Drive initiatives within Qualification, Validation, ATEX, and CE compliance.
- Leadership: Be an engaged, involving, and present leader for your employees, balancing short-term needs with long-term development for both individuals and the team.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead and inspire your team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, and balancing short-term needs with long-term development of both the individual and the team.Qualifications
We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:
- An academic background in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry/Biology, Business, or a similar field is preferred.
- Solid experience leading highly qualified professionals, with some years of experience in project management or people management, preferably both.
- Familiarity with complex production processes, with experience in GMP-regulated areas being a plus.
- Fluency in both verbal and written English.
- Ability to think and act with a broad and strategic perspective, seeing “The Big Picture” without losing sight of important details.
As an individual, you are positive, cooperative, action- and solution-oriented. You work systematically, logically, and proactively, and are capable of handling a high and complex work pace without losing overview or motivation.As a leader, you see and respect the individual, adapting your leadership style to the competencies, experience, engagement, and needs of each employee from both a business and personal perspective.About the department
M1 Projects is responsible for the investment portfolio and execution of projects in the production facilities. The department is organized in a matrix with approximately 165 colleagues executing a diverse portfolio of projects in different phases. You will manage a team of Project Managers responsible for executing projects from the early idea phase to implementation in the factory, ensuring compliance with regulations within Qualification, Validation, ATEX, and CE. With a high number of stakeholders to manage, we achieve fantastic results through cooperation and communication across the organization.Working at Novo Nordisk
