We are seeking a skilled and motivated Penetration Tester to join our team.In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a range of security assessments to identify and exploit vulnerabilities, provide remediation advice towards customers accordingly to improve their overall security posture.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits on applications, networks, and systems.
- Identify, analyze, and report security vulnerabilities with detailed recommendations for remediation.
- Simulate cyberattacks and assess the resilience of various infrastructures.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to developers, system administrators, and security teams.
- Stay up to date with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and penetration testing techniques.
- Develop and execute security test plans and methodologies.
- Share insights and security research on our dedicated Ethical hacking blog
- Take time for research and work on improving infrastructure and custom tools for future assessments in collaboration with different teams.
- Participate in the presales process, including creating quotes and following up on projects.
What we expect from you?
- You are a Belgian resident with a minimum three years of experience as a penetration tester
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an ICT related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking, or vulnerability assessments.
- In-depth knowledge of networks, operating systems, and web applications.
- Understand that penetration testing goes beyond automated scans and simple exploits, using your knowledge, methodology, and creative thinking to provide real value.
- Understanding of common security frameworks and directives (OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK framework, NIS2, ISO27K, DORA, etc.)
- Flexible working approach, not reliant on a set of tools. You understand the underlying workings of the tools and scripts you use and can customize them as needed.
- Experience with cloud security testing (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSEP, eWPTx, eCPPT, CRTO, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, able to clearly convey the risks and consequences of vulnerabilities on a technical and non-technical manner to customers.
