As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive physical education lessons, helping students develop a variety of athletic skills and promoting a lifelong love of physical activity. You will also work closely with individual students, providing personalised support and guidance to enhance their physical capabilities. Additionally, you will contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to participate and grow.Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the physical education curriculum for secondary students.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and small group instruction to ensure students of all abilities can progress and excel.
  • Prepare and organise lesson plans, activities, and sports equipment.
  • Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and students’ emotional well-being through physical education activities.
  • Help organise and supervise sports events, ensuring a fun and structured experience for all participants.
  • Supervise students during break times and assist with extracurricular activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience teaching PE or a background in sports coaching is essential.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to working with students of different abilities and age groups.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • A passion for promoting physical fitness and encouraging students to achieve their best.
