PE Teacher – Full-Time – September Start – Levenshulme, ManchesterTeaching Personnel is working in partnership with a highly regarded, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Levenshulme, Manchester, to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher. This full-time position is to start in September and is to cover a long-term absence. The school is known for its inclusive ethos, diverse student body, and commitment to high standards across both academic and extracurricular activities. Pay will be in line with your scale, dependent on experience.Role Overview:Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4Promote physical health, teamwork, and a positive sporting ethosPlan a wide range of practical and theoretical PE lessons that engage all learnersSupport the wider life of the school through involvement in extracurricular clubs and inter-school competitionsMonitor and track pupil progress, ensuring each student reaches their full potentialMaintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and motivation in lessons and sports settingsThe Ideal Candidate Will:Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

Have experience teaching PE in a secondary school settingBe confident in delivering both practical and theory-based PE contentBe passionate about sports, fitness, and student developmentPossess strong classroom and behaviour management skillsBe willing to contribute to extracurricular activities and the school communityThis is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department in a school with excellent facilities and a strong focus on personal development.
