For our Human Capital department, we are looking for a payroll officer. The payroll officer will be part of the Payroll team (3 Payroll officers and 1 Payroll lead) which is responsible for full payroll operations within PwC.

Your impact

As Payroll officer, you’ll make an impact on:

Efficient payroll process

  • Ensure smooth daily payroll operations for employees and directors
  • Follow-up on time and attendance in line with PwC’s Flexible working approach
  • Execution of the different PwC Reward packages, such as our flexible remuneration plan and our alternative mobility plan. 
  • Providing support in HR and payroll administration
  • Taking full ownership of the full payroll process of the Line of Service that is assigned to you (+- 700 employees) .
  • Support the implementation and usage of the HR processes, policies and systems.
  • Support the HRBC’s regarding HR and payroll-related topics. 

Employee experience

  • Create a flawless employee experience in terms of execution of our employee’s reward package
  • Providing support to employee requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Providing guidance to the employees and keeping our intranet up to date with all payroll related information

About you

  • Excellent knowledge of Belgian payroll taxation and knowledge of social law (jc200) allowing you to give advice on several topics (such as career interruptions, holiday pay, leave and overtime,…)
  • Excellent Excel knowledge. 
  • Interested in automation and applying new technologies to support our employees even more efficiently. Innovative and proactive
  • Teamplayer with good communication skills
  • Accurate, service minded, stress resilient and problem-solving 
  • Fluent knowledge of Dutch and/or French and English
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant senior professional experience (2-5 years experience in payroll agencies or large companies is highly appreciated)
  • Knowledge of Eblox and Workday is a plus!
