DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Payroll Analyst to join our team specializing in Human Resources for our Payroll department in Germany.

This role can be based at any Cummins location in Germany.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

  • Accurate Payroll Processing: Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, processing, and balancing of payroll for various groups, maintaining high standards of data integrity.

  • Customer Support: Provide essential support to sites and employees by addressing payroll queries and handling off-cycle or replacement payments efficiently.

  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with internal procedures and payroll-related legislation, and prepare accurate financial reports and general ledger entries.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement projects, supporting the development and maintenance of payroll process documentation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • First-Line Support: Act as the first line of support for sites and employees with payroll queries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

  • Time Management Reconciliation: Perform time management reconciliation to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of employee hours.

  • Standard Operating Procedures: Maintain and update standard operating procedures in the Document Management System, ensuring they are current and effective.

  • KPI and Billing Information: Record key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecard statistics, and billing information to support accurate reporting and analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Excellent Knowledge of German Statutory Legislation: Understanding and applying relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance in payroll processing.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to resolve complex issues by analyzing data and identifying effective solutions.

  • Initiative and Prioritization: Capability to use your own initiative and prioritize your workload effectively to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team, providing support and collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience), along with proficiency in Excel and Word (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and experience with Time Management, Payroll, and HR systems.

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.

  • Excellent customer service skills.
