As a Patient Monitoring Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling and implementing the Medtronic PM (Patient Monitoring) product and solutions to Medtronic customers and prospects with an enhanced focus on clinical and outcome-based benefits of our solutions. You will need to demonstrate the capacity to engaging directly with key opinion leaders in the Patient Monitoring field, while simultaneously demonstrating clinical & procedural acumen when facing other relevant stakeholders. 

In Medtronic Patient Monitoring, we deliver solutions for critical care areas (OR – Operating Room and ICU – Intensive Care Unit) and go further across the patient’s care continuum to avoid perioperative complications and respiratory compromise. A Day in the Life

  • Promotes and sells Patient Monitoring products in close collaboration with the Patient Monitoring Account Managers, within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with relevant (clinical) stakeholders, KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) and local Ad Boards and societies in close collaboration with Account Managers.
  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic’s products and/or services.
  • Promotes and establishes education of the company’s products and/or services. 
  • Conducts market research including customers and competitors’ activities.
  • Execute on local market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
  • Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D (Research & Development), Operations and Marketing.

Must Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in clinical selling a proven track record of success 
  • An advanced degree.
  • Based in Liguria or Piemonte region and willingness to travel 80% of the time
  • Advanced English and Italian 
  • Competitive mindset and business development capacity
  • Highest ethical standard 
  • Teamwork
  • Clear and assertive communication as well as excellent presentation skills

Nice to Haves

  • Strong network in the healthcare sector in the respective Region (Liguria-Piemonte-Valle d’Aosta)
  • Clinical education/ Nursing background
  • MBA or other advanced business degree. 
  • Patient Monitoring portfolio clinical and industry knowledge
