The Conrad Bora Bora Nui 5* Hotel recruits its Pastry Chef to ensure the quality of its services.
You are responsible for the perfect functioning of the hotel’s bakery in accordance with the standards in force and the objectives set. You guarantee the satisfaction of your customers and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the Pastry according to the indications of the Chef de Cuisine (food cost, quality standards etc.).
You prepare in collaboration with the Executive Chef the dessert menus of the different restaurants of the hotel, Monitor the quality of all services and guarantee high-quality pastries and pastries while respecting the hygiene standards required by law. You calculate, write, transmit and check orders and deliveries. You control the correct management of stocks and food costs. You minimize the loss of goods and monitor the quality of all products.
You ensure good organization within the Patisserie. You ensure a good working atmosphere for your employees and promote team cohesion.
You show initiative and creativity in the development of your cards and encourage your employees to do the same while respecting the culinary standards of the Company.You share your knowledge
You must have acquired at least 5 years of experience in a position as Pastry Chef or Sous-Chef Pâtissier in a 5* hotel.
Experience in buffet and banquet service.
Experience in star-starred desserts would be an asset.
You are a passionate, perfectionist and enthusiastic person with good knowledge of the HACCP health and safety rules.
Team spirit, organization and flexibility will be key assets for this position.
Experience in the islands would be appreciated.
