Say farewell to the ordinary, and hello to the extraordinary!Job DescriptionWhat you’ll doWe are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona.Under the guidance of the Pastry Sous Chef, you will:

• Use your Pastry expertise and skill, you’ll be crucial in ensuring our Pastry kitchen continues to excel in producing the most creative, innovative and inspirational items.
• Bring delicious, creative and bespoke flavours and creations to our guests’ tables.
• Make sure our operation runs without hitch, orders and deliveries are coming and going as needed, our service is smooth and our food hygiene standards are sky-high.

QualificationsWhat we are looking for…

• One to two years’ experience as a Pastry Chef preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel/restaurant.
• Passion for Pastry is a given; you’ve worked hard to perfect your craft and you have a huge appetite to continue learning from the best in the business.
• You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience.
• You make people feel good – your team, guests and colleagues alike.
• Organization and all over detail.
• You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get stuff done.
• You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
