- Oversee critical sales processes – you’ll be entrusted to manage the sales processes from lead generation across geographies and categories, package valuation, sales materials preparation and design, coordination of package creations, company reporting and Heads of Terms approval support
- Lead and inspire – you will motivate and coach direct reports, identifying learning and development opportunities and fostering a high-performance culture
- Work with internal stakeholders to utilise insights – you’ll collaborate with colleagues to utilise fan and audience insights within the category selection phase
- Support with new business activity – you will be a key player in the creation of new business presentations and proposals that are tailored to the business priorities of the company in question
- Provide reports and insight to senior colleagues – you’ll ensure senior decision makers have all the information they need to help increase partnership conversion rate
- Manage relationships with our partner agencies – you will proactively manage day-to-day relationships with our external data and insights agencies who support us to track partnership exposure, performance and consumer insights
- Collaborate with the wider Partnership department – you’ll team-up with our Partner Services and Partnership Operations teams to ensure accurate tracking of partner contractual rights and forecast availability for new business and you will handle KPI mapping and objective setting of existing partnerships with a focus on ROI tracking
- Unite with wider club functions to enhance partnerships – you’ll relish the opportunity to work with a range of colleagues to develop new partnership assets, refine current proposition and ensure sectors and partnership positioning is in line with our club’s wider strategy
What we are looking for
- Analytical background – you come with proven experience in analytical or consultative roles, preferably within sports or similar sectors
- Excellent leadership skills – you’re proud of your ability to inspire and manage a team, coupled with strong collaborative skills to work effectively with other departments
- Credible industry knowledge – you possess a good understanding of brand dynamics and consumer trends as well as a decent grasp of sponsorship sales processes and key drivers
- Strategic mindset – you’ve got a demonstrable track record of managing a range of strategic projects
- Experience supporting new business processes – you’ve previously created market research reports and sales materials
- Best-in-class research and organisational skills – you’re passionate about carrying out vital research and you’re able to apply your skills across a range of projects without compromising quality and accuracy
- Excellent communicator – you’re able to build and maintain impactful relationships with a range of colleagues, tailoring your tone and approach as necessary
- Trusted team player – you thrive when you’re collaborating with a team and you have a willingness to learn and support others in all areas from administrative to strategic
