An integral part of the role is leading sales activities and achieving the agreed Sales, Bookings, Gross Profit and strategic targets for the product lines, accounts and services in Germany . Through engaging with our customers and providing high levels of service, you will expand and strengthen the relationship. Focus is on selling and promoting products and services, concepts and solutions as offered by the Measurement Solutions Group .

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Actively visit customers to promote the sale of Emerson’s products and services & strategically negotiate, keeping in mind long term opportunities

• Handle sales cycles from lead to closure

• Manage and further develop Emerson’s market position by understanding the customer’s business drivers & goals and keeping up to date with their situations

• Prepare and be responsible for an annual booking budget by product / value / period

• Understand and work in team project form for integrated requests

• Participate in relevant industry events

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / technical field or equivalent experience

• Proven sales / business development experiencein a commercial role

• Affinity towards technology and innovations and good technical understanding

• Proficiency in English and German language

• Availability to travel up to 50% of time

• Driving license

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Matrix organization experience

• Experience in industrial automation environment ; with a good knowledge of similar technical instruments (flow, level, temperature measurement) and understanding of similar industries ( life science, chemical, oil & gas, power )

We offer an attractive compensation package that matches your qualifications and professional experience. For Austria, the gross annual salary is based on the metal trade collective agreement (usage group IV). Depending on training and experience, overpayment is possible.
