As an expert consulting team, we support BASF operating divisions and other IT teams to utilize cloud technologies and edge computing across various interesting and demanding projects like AI based plant control, predictive maintenance or asset and condition monitoring.
The OT Cloud Services team offers development and consulting services to the whole BASF group in terms of modernizing, developing and deploying OT related applications based on cloud technologies.RESPONSIBILITIES
- As an OT Cloud Services engineer, you are able to develop and implement modern cutting-edge cloud-based application architectures based on containers, container orchestration, microservices, data streaming and messaging.
- You are also able to communicate on technical level and abstract complex technological concepts for customers.
- You are able to understand customer requirements and align with internal and external partners to solve technical problems in a pragmatic and sustainable fashion.
- You are not afraid to get your hands on the newest technologies.
- You have a basic understanding about IT security in the development process. In the team, you will be trained on-the-job according to your skillset and fields of interest.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
Bachelor/Master/PhD in IT, Science or related engineering Field
- Work Experience
+ 3 years of related working experience
- Technical & Professional Knowledge
– Abtract Thinking and Complex Problem Solving
– Deep Fascination for IT Systems
– English Language
– Programming Skills in at least one programming language
- Nice to have
– Linux OS basics
