DenmarkContractSalary: CompetitiveSectors:Offshore WindJob Reference: BH-7592-1Our client is looking for an OSS Commissioning Manager to join their team and be responsible for overseeing the commissioning phase of the OSS Substations Electrical fit out, Harbour works, offshore works.Key Responsibilities
- Represent our client at the OSS Fabrication Yard in Aalborg
- Act as a role model for high standards of work & safety
- Ensure adherence to project Safety Rules
- Manage overall commissioning planning for 2 x OSS Platforms within agreed construction schedule
- Manage commissioning engineer’s supervisors/client reps at the yard
- Confirm completion of key milestones, SAT, Mechanical Completion etc.
- Coordinate interfaces to third party equipment
- Monitor and report on progress.
- Be permanent based at the preassembly yard to monitor and witness all works
- Participate in witnessing yard activities and testing
- Delegate task to supervisors to ensure scope of mechanical install and testing is optimally witnessed by Employer
- Review of ITPs and procedures from Supplier
- Report on progress daily and weekly to the Commissioning Manager and OSS Package Manager
- Contribute actively to evaluation of the project progress and propose mitigation measures early when issues arise
- Ensure commissioning activities are correctly documented
- Ensure compliance with specifications and engineering standards
- Provide a forecast of upcoming activities to the commissioning team highlighting important milestones
- Coordinate site commissioning meetings with CON
- Manager effectively NCRs, punch closing activities
- Participate in wider project meetings representing OSS commissioning
- Provide on-job training to O&M resources
- Act as point of contact for the electrical safety manager
- Actively participate in role out of WESR
- Coordination of third-party activities on the OSS
- Planning of integration testing with WTG/ONS O&M
- Ensure provision of documentation critical for TSO approvals on time

- Comment sheets leading to final specifications and designs
- FAT, HAT and SAT reports
- Commissioning reports for packages and/or systems and subsystems

- Input to offshore commissioning schedules
Requirements
- Engineering degree at M.Sc. level or similar, in electrical engineering/power systems engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience
