to the jobWe are seeking a skilled Optical Engineer to join FFM (Final Focus Metrology) team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in designing and analyzing optical systems and will have experience with advanced optical tools and techniques. Role and responsibilities include:.Role and responsibilitiesDefine and specify optical requirements for metrology module.Perform ray tracing and optical system design using Zemax.Apply tolerancing techniques and ensure compliance with ISO10110 for optical component specifications.Develop and implement signal processing and Fourier optical techniques.Utilize knowledge of physical optics propagationIntegrate module into Source Laser systemAssess optical design & analysis done by supplierVerify critical design aspects by performing simulationsSimulation of conceptual optical layout updateReview of optical design and simulation done by supplierSequential ray trace simulation for finding ghost originsNon-sequential ray trace simulation to propagate ghosts into sensorsAnalysis integration data (e.g.: camera) from machines.Education and experienceMasters degree or higher (PhD) in Experimental Physics, Optics, Opto-mechatronics or similar. A background in high-power laser optics, UV optics, Plasma physics or Optomechanical design is a pre..Demonstrable experience in advanced optical design, combined with hands-on experience in technical trouble shooting. Some (~2 yrs) work experience in relevant field. Expected qualifications:Proficiency in ray tracing and ZemaxOptical tolerance analysisStray light analysisExperience with optical metrology and wavefront sensors.Understanding of optical system design, signal processing, and Fourier optics.
