Operations Manager – Grade 7

We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our award-winning team to manage the Universities accommodation.

In the past decade, we have invested £250 million into our Halls of Residence, winning us Best University Halls in the 2021 National Student Housing Survey Awards, and shortlisted again for 2022. We have 7 halls of residences with over 4,400 students living with us.

With a proven track record of leading a management team ideally in a Student Accommodation setting, you will manage 4 Hall Managers who have responsibility for staff management and development, health and safety, summer works and cleaning programme, student services including a 24-hour reception service and working closely with the accommodation team and on-site pastoral team to support student welfare and discipline.

You will be adaptable and flexible in your approach to leadership and management having ample experience of customer service and budget management. You will demonstrate an enthusiasm for the development and delivery of quality services to accommodation users and a commitment to improving the Student Journey. You will have a degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience.

This role is offered on a hybrid working basis of approximately 3 days per week with time dedicated to both being on Campus and at Greenbank Student Village.  Hybrid working is reviewed on a 6 monthly basis and may be subject to change.
